Employee Assistance Program

Stressful everyday issues can affect both your home life and work productivity. Sometimes these issues can be difficult and overwhelming to handle on your own. The Employee Assistance Program (provided by PacifiCare Behavioral Health) is designed to help faculty, staff, and their household members resolve personal and workplace challenges. This program provides face-to-face counseling, life management services, and other resources aimed at assisting members with a variety of issues.

The Employee Assistance Program has services and resources available for assisting faculty and staff with their:

  • emotional well-being
  • work issues
  • parenting & child issues
  • education
  • legal assistance
  • money management
  • substance abuse & recovery
  • resources for seniors

EAP services are strictly confidential as required by law. The program is available to all university employees and their immediate family members. Face-to-face counseling visits and referrals to life management services are available free of charge. Discounts for some services may also be available through PacifiCare Behavioral Health.
